Director: Candida Royalle, former porn actress and founder of Femme Productions, a company which produces erotic films from a woman’s point-of-view. She is also a member of American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and the founder of Feminists for Free Expression.

Plot synopsis: A female erotic film director and her star head east to NY City to hunt for the perfect new stud for their next movie. Dozens of guys show up to audition, but things don't go as smoothly as expected as the director tries desperately to keep her wannabe studs on the set and off the casting couch! Things spin hilariously out of control, but in the end, the director has her revenge in the most enviable of ways! This is a satirical look at the adult entertainment business and in a fun way spoofs everything from backstage shenanigans to the egos, fans, paparazzi and even Candida Royalle herself.

Like all Candida Royalle’s films, Studhunters has more plot, better dialog, and higher quality acting than a “typical” porn film, making it a good choice for women, couples, and anyone who dislikes “vulgar” or plot-less porn.
