Burlesque Teaser Workshop

Date:
2 December 2009 - 7:30pm
Audience: Women only
Seminar Leader: Tabi Fondapetting
Price: $30

Come to the Burlesque Teaser workshop and learn some saucy moves! In this workshop you will learn the art of striptease through a group burlesque act, which includes the classic bump and grind moves. This workshop will get you moving, encourage you to release your inner sass and allow you to interact with other women in a celebration of femininity.

You can strip down to shorts and a tank, panties and a bra or the classic bloomers and pasties; the most important thing is that you are comfortable and sexy! Please make sure your outfit is suitable for moving and dancing in. You may wish to bring dance slippers or you can dance barefoot. Please bring four items of clothing you are comfortable removing, these items should include: 1) a pair of gloves, 2) a boa or a scarf, 3) a skirt or tutu, 4) a top, bustier, or corset.

Tabi Fondapetting

Tabi Fondapetting’s greatest passion is to encourage women toward sexual empowerment, self-love and authentic sexual expression. Her journey began over ten years ago with the study of gender and sexuality in her BA and in MA studies and continued throughout her career as a Professional Researcher. In recent years, Tabi’s love of sass inspired her to explore the world of Burlesque. Through Burlesque, Tabi found an abundance of ways to support others in their own sexual expression. Tabi is a self-described lover of “femininity, sass and all things sexy” who loves to perform the bump and grind. When not doing a shimmy or shake you can find Tabi sharing her passion with others by teaching them classic burlesque moves or how to create tasty pasties.
