Get and Keep the Relationship You Want - Dec 3rd
In this 2-hour educational workshop (not therapy), attendees will gain an introduction to practical tools from the world's foremost couples therapists and researchers. Jason Evans (M.A., R.C.C.) uses a mix of humour, personal/clinical experience, and interactive exercises, to make the often complicated science of healthy relationships accessible, engaging and fun. Whether single, newly living together or in a long-term relationship, this workshop will help you break free from unhealthey emotional patterns and provide the knowhow to start making positive change in your most important relationships.
Jason Evans (Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Registered Clinical Counsellor) has an extensive background working with couples, particularly around issues with intimacy, communication, and emotional disconnection. Jason helps couples build secure attachment by teaching them how to appropriately respond to each other's needs and core vulnerabilities. Jason has a background in teaching, music as well as performance, and along with his private practice, works passionately as an iGuy program facilitator, helping boys (aged 9 to 12) navigate the challenges of modern day masculinity. Most recently, Jason completed a comprehensive couple's therapy training with the renowned Gottman Institute, and is excited to share this knowledge in his upcoming workshops.
