Staff Review - Lelo Ina Wave 2

An in house review of the Lelo Ina Wave 2 toy

Lelo Ina Wave 2 Review

Alright y’all, it’s time for another in house review. We would also like to be transparent in letting you know that these are NOT paid ads from companies. These staff reviews are made to give you our honest opinions about products. If they’re worth the price, design flaws, etc. Now let’s move to the review.

I recently received a Lelo Ina Wave 2 rabbit vibrator. This toy has an external clitoral vibrator and the insertable part that both vibrates and “fingers.” 12 different vibration modes – differing settings, you can pick which of the three motors are going and adjust the strength of each pattern – with a nice range of gentle to strong. This guy is USB rechargeable, waterproof, and made with a nice smooth silicone that will not harbour bacteria. The total insertable length of this toy is 4.3”.

The buttons are simple, and the toy remembers the last setting you used when you switch it off. The controls are great because you don’t have to click through every different strength and pattern. Just find the right vibration mode you like and adjust the strength with the separate strength controls.

It works best when used in a relaxed position. It’s uncomfortable if your torso is scrunched up, your pelvic floor is tightening too much and it causes discomfort. On my back with my feet planted on the ground was most comfortable. If you are using the fingering function, I do recommend holding the toy in place. If you do not, the toy just wiggles up and down. Which is still fun as it moves the clitoral vibrator around. Although, you’ll be missing out on the G-spot stimulation.

The fingering movement is loud. Not outrageously loud, but audible if someone is right outside your door. Put a bit of music on and it’ll cover it.

Another thing to keep in mind is the size of it. If you have vaginal pain due to large or hard objects, you might want to avoid this one. The toy is not squishy at all. Other than the external vibrator, which has lots of bend to comfortably fit your body (awesome awesome), it has no give otherwise.

Now the money talk. This thing is $269 without tax. That’s an ouch for me! It’s definitely a luxury purchase. The Ina Wave 2 is very nice and you’re getting what you pay for. What I’ve noticed is that toys that have smarter controls are always more expensive. Another toy we have that is similar to the Ina Wave 2 is the Femmefun Ultra Rabbit Vibrator. At $150 (excluding tax), it functionally performs the same. Less range in strength, longer shaft, less convenient controls, splashproof. This toy’s “fingering” function is less strong, but the motor is quieter because of it.
