In Defense of the Rose Toy

A year or two ago, the Rose Toy gained a viral popularity almost overnight- but nowadays it’s been cast by the wayside. But it’s more than just a fad.
You might remember in early 2024, seeing a bunch of videos about something called a “Rose Toy”, with tons of people talking feverishly about how good it was. TikTokers and lifestyle influencers talking for the first time about something as taboo as masturbation, recommending one specific product. It was cheap, friendly-looking, and packed a crazy punch. In a post-pandemic world where what to do in one’s alone time had skyrocketed in importance, it seemed the perfect product for the masses. Unassuming, not shaped like any genitals, and novel enough to catch peoples’ attention. After all, this wasn’t a vibrator, no, this was a suction toy. This was a toy that targeted specifically the best part of your anatomy and did all the work for you. Testimonies from hundreds of people saying things like “This made my legs shoot out from under me” and “I was seeing stars”, this sex toy became a meme- and not because it was silly looking! Do you know how rare that is? For something to become a meme and for the main joke to not be at it’s expense? I remember I had a friend purchase one at the height of the fervor as a joke, and she said to me “Unfortunately, it’s actually really good”. Try as you might want to laugh at it, it delivers.
So then, you might ask, what about now? The meme has long become passé, the joke no longer relevant. But the humble Rose Toy remains, stalwart and at attention, ready to teach someone with a clit what getting your dick sucked feels like (that’s a real testimony). The fact remains, the Rose Toy is still a great product. That might be what allowed it to continue as a meme for so long, it was continually fueled by the fact that it proved itself right. Coming in at only $69.95 ($78.35 with tax), it’s a steal compared to most (if not all) other high-quality rechargeable suction toys, and while it’s pretty simplistic in it’s use, it does one thing and it does it well. The only downside to it is the bulky shape- its nearly cylindrical bulbous figure is not always the easiest to maneuver, especially if you’re using it with a partner. But for solo play, she won’t let you down. There’s a reason she was a star. We’ve got three varieties of the Rose Toy, we have the original Rose, the Romp Rose, and the Blossom. So if one rose variety isn’t your cup of tea, we’ve got another one on deck.
The Rose Toy’s rise to and fall from stardom was fast, but her imprint will last forever, both in our minds and… somewhere else.
