Look, I'm gonna be honest. We here at The Art of Loving were recently reintroduced to the joy of the crossword puzzle, trying to figure one out together on a slow day. It came in a magazine, and something about the familiar novelty of print media and the realization that we were definitely not smart enough to solve this crossword while soothing old-timey nigh Christmassy music played, it really got us in the holiday spirit. My dear compatriot even remarked: "This feels like it's Christmas, doing this." To which I wholeheartedly agreed. Something about the quiet low stakes collective participation in something that neither of us were particularly well-versed at, but provided a strange sense of bonding and comfort, and was just the tiniest bit boring?
