NIPPLE PIERCINGS AND NIPPLE CLAMPS

Someone in the store the other day asked about the nipple clamp + nipple piercing combo: is it safe? Will it hurt? Before we get into any of the details, first let me say: if you've just recently gotten your nipples pierced, don’t use nipple clamps!

Wait for them to heal. Also, remember to use extra caution - if there is a slip-up, a nipple piercing could end up getting pulled out in a not-so-great way :/

But once your piercings have healed up, you can for sure use nipple clamps! There are actually some clamps made especially for piercings, that will attach to your jewelry in specific ways. Regular clamps will work too, and we have a wide variety at the Art of Loving.

If you are unsure what strength of clamp you like with your new nipple piercing, there are many adjustable clamps, such as the Micro Plier Clamp by Spartacus. Because piercings can make the nipple extra sensitive, clamps you’ve used previously may be too strong now. If you’ve never used clamps before, (and this goes for folks with or without piercings) better to start slow and work your way up in strength, as you get to know what you like.

Shop our nipple clamps in store or online!
