How To Care For Your Fleshlight

If you’re gonna be dropping the big bux on a Fleshlight, you’re gonna want to make sure it lasts!
Though we use the term pretty interchangeably, the word “Fleshlight” is actually a brand name! But it’s used to denote the wider idea of the product itself, just like Kleenex, Jello, Q-Tip, Band-Aid, Dry Ice, Zipper, Heroin, Popsicle, Hula-Hoop, Bubble Wrap, Velcro, Tupperware… what was I talking about? Oh, right! Despite being a brand name, fleshlight has, in some circles, come to mean a shorthand for all masturbation sleeves, even if they aren’t necessarily Fleshlight brand. And, most motorized strokers you’ll see out there have nothing to do with the Fleshlight brand!
Which is what we’re talking about today- motorized strokers. A fleshlight that will do all the hard work for you. These guys can sometimes cost a pretty penny, so it’s important that you take good care of them! We’ll go into depth about it, but in case you’re not looking for a deep dive, here’s a TLDR:
TLDR: Remove the sleeve from the machine before washing. Wash the sleeve with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, let it air dry completely, and apply cornstarch or renewal powder if you wish. Wipe down the motorized base with a damp cloth, keeping the motor and power ports completely dry.

Cleaning the Sleeve
-Separate the TPE sleeve from the mechanical base.
-Rinse the inside and outside with warm (not hot) water.
-Wash gently with an antibacterial soap or specialized sex toy cleaner.
-Shake off excess water and let it air dry on a towel completely.
-Dust with cornstarch or Fleshlight Renewal Powder once dry to remove stickiness.
Maintaining the Motorized Base
-Unplug or power off the machine before cleaning.
-Wipe the metal frame and plastic outer shell with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
-NEVER submerge the motorized unit or let water enter the charging port, mechanical track, or motor housing.
-Clear out any lube or debris from small crevices using a cotton swab.
Lubrication Rules
-Use only water-based lubricants during use.
-Never use silicone-based lube, petroleum jelly, or oil-based products, as they permanently melt and ruin the TPE material.
Storage Tips
-Store the sleeve and machine in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
-Keep the sleeve out of plastic bags; store in breathable bags, and/or separate from other toys so materials do not degrade or stick together.
-Detach large components if you are storing the unit away for a long time to prevent stress or bending on the mechanical parts.
