What Construction Means & Our Appreciation to You

About the West Broadway construction… and thank you for your support!

Hello y’all. It’s been a while since all this construction has really taken over the road outside our storefront. What was once a giant pit has now been filled in, and it seems like we’re nearing the end soon. Fingers crossed.

We’d like to thank everyone for their continuous support. We know it’s been loud and hard to navigate. Even with everything going on, business still feels (somewhat) the same. Folks are still coming in and supporting us regardless. As a locally owned small Canadian business, it means a lot to us when you visit. If you’re just a curious window shopper, we still love having you. It lets us know that we’re providing a space people enjoy.

Working here has been a lot of headaches and dust due to the ground constantly shaking. We’re always cleaning the place but it’s amazing how much dust collects within a week. Sometimes the construction closes a sidewalk and then everyone-including us-gets confused about how to get anywhere.

If you aren’t a fan of loud noises, you can still support us with online orders. We always recommend you come in for personalized advice so you can spend your hard-earned money confidently. However, if you’re just looking to restock your favourites, you can try ordering. If you’re ordering within Metro Vancouver, you may even qualify for our same day shipping. Check your emails if you order from us!

If you are a driver, we have parking in the back. It’s a little weird to navigate (construction) but if you prefer driving, it is possible.

Again, thank you for your support. We’ve been watching many neighbouring businesses close and find it disheartening. There was a hair salon beside us that had to close a while back. We let them use our ladders and tools and they gave us lots of chocolate as a gift. Even though business was tough and lending our ladder cost us nothing, they still shared their money and time. Obviously, we are a business and require income to remain open. Though, I think it’s important to remember the people that run the businesses. Your support allows us to share our knowledge and kindness with customers, businesses, and the community.

Peace and love.
