AN INTRO TO ANAL

This week Iv been asked a lot of questions about anal while working at the shop. I thought Id cover some basics and some toys and lubes that we carry here at The Art of Loving Sex shop that may be helpful for beginners or more practiced individuals.
First off is lube you will need some. Most anal toys are not compatible with silicone lube with the exception of glass and steel ones so the best option is a water-based lube. I recommend Fuck water for a hybrid lube that won’t dry out quickly and sliquid H2O for a water based natural option.
In terms of toys that may be good to start with we have lots of options from plugs to beads here at the shop in Vancouver. There are a few things to take into account when picking a toy intended for anal. First it should be easily cleanable think glass, steel or medical grade silicone. Next unlike vaginas your anus does not have a definitive end meaning toys can get “lost” up there, so you want a flared base of some sort on all your anal toys.
