So, you lost your sex toy charger? Happens to the best of us. Let’s go over what this means for your warranty, and where you can find a new one.
Maybe you haven’t lost your charger but you’re pretty sure it’s not working anymore. If you’re experience this, bring your toy and charger in. We will test both. Most of the time it is the toy that is causing issues. However, there are times when the charger is defective. We will replace the charger for you if you are under warranty.
Loss or damage of any product is not covered by warranty. So unfortunately, we cannot give you a new charger straight up. If you come in with a defective toy that does not have its original charger, we can only replace the toy. The charger will stay with us.
What do we do with extra chargers? As a store, we do not have a stock of extra chargers. Sometimes, we have extra chargers from defective exchanges and we are willing to sell those if we have them. To keep your warranty valid, we would only recommend a charger that matches your toy company.
Luxury brands such as We-Vibe, Lelo, Fun Factory, and Lush, have their own branded chargers. They are designed for their toys and usually have a unique shape. These brands sell their chargers online. Since these toys are more expensive, we recommend not mixing chargers around. This can harm the battery of your toy in the long term. If you’re already out of the warranty period, we still recommend sticking with the charger your toy came with. This will ensure your toy has the best chance of lasting.
Lots of companies do not sell isolated chargers. Cheaper brands tend to stick with generic chargers since it’s cheaper to produce. In this case you’ll just have to find one that fits the toy. It’s helpful if you have the user manual. It might tell us the specs of the charger. Generic chargers are sold online on sites like Amazon. Just makes sure the listing matches your toy port.
